An official tells The Associated Press that New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will announce an agreement with Toyota Motor Sales to provide special accommodations for consumers in New York whose vehicles are targeted by the company's recent safety recalls.
The state official, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the announcement had not been made, says Toyota and Lexus dealers will bolster repair efforts by offering services such as at-home pickup and return of recalled vehicles, free rental cars during repairs, and reimbursement for the cost of transportation.
